The second gathering in the indoor series took place in Vänersborg on December 10 and 11 and was played on the Eternite (EC) surface. You can catch up on the first round in our article here.
Before the start Askim was in the lead followed by Skoghall. Just a few strokes separated the two teams. In the first round both Askim and Skoghall lost. Skoghall was defeated by the big challenger Kungälv by 117 to 115. Askim was defeated by Gullbergsbro 2 by one stroke 123 against 122. That made the series much tighter in the top.
In the second round Skoghall, reigning champions, took over the lead by winning over Nässjö as Askim was defeated by Göteborg. Third round saw Jönköping taking their third consecutive win and Skoghall winning an important top game against Gullbergsbro 1.
Last round of this Saturday Jönköping took their fourth consecutive match by winning over Skoghall. Kungälv lost after three consecutive wins while meeting a new born Askim taking their only win of the weekend. The derby between Gullbergsbro 1 and Gullbergbro 2 was a tie. 121-121
Last rounds took place on Sunday. The two dominants of the first day Kungälv and Jönköping met in the first game and Kungälv did stop Jönköping from getting a fifth consecutive win. That also helped them to not let Skoghall be alone in the top. In the second round of the day the top teams Kungälv, Gullbergsbro 1 and Skoghall all won their games.
In the last round the derby of Småland was won by Jönköping. Kungälv won the important game against Gullbergsbro 1 and now could hope for Askim winning against Skoghall
but Skoghall was much too good for Askim's remaining five players as one had to go home due to fever during Saturday but do notice that Andreas Carlsson, Askim made the only 18-round in the weekend in this game.
In division 2 Borås took the lead by winning all five games. A good weekend also for Tuve Tigers winning four games out of five taking them from last place to fourth place.
