Germany 11 Apr 2008 at 08:26 | Published by: JJM | Views: 6499 | News search

Ladies’ Leipzig scores cancelled German Minigolf Federation has cancelled the scores of the first weekend of women’s Bundesliga, which was played at the felt course of Leipzig on 6 April.

The referee and players agreed to quit the competition after two rounds, due to bad weather and a long travel home on the snowy roads.

The current rules of German Bundesliga state that results will be cancelled if less than three rounds can be played in the competition. (This rule will be changed for the next season, so that 50% of originally planned number of rounds will be sufficient.)

The results of men’s Bundesliga stay in effect. Men started before women in the playing order, and completed the required minimum of three rounds in the competition.

The cancelled results of women’s German Bundesliga, day 1 / 6:

1.   202   MGC Mainz     (Kobisch, Gundert-Greiffendorf, Kern, Neumann)
2.   204   BGC Neutraubling     (Reinisch, Werkmann, Pscherer, Kuhn)
3.   217   MGC Göttingen     (Knesebeck, Oberweg, Piechotta, Richter)
4.   240   MSK Olching     (Erlbruch, Scheible, Wamboldt, Trinkl)
5.   247   BGC Uerdingen     (Riebesam, Eilts, Warnecke)
6.   253   MSC Bensheim-Auerbach     (Vetter, Geist, Thiem, Kohfeld)
