Oirschot also wins second round Dutch league

Netherlands 13 Apr 2011 at 08:07 | Published by: Santa | Views: 8901 | News search

Oirschot also wins second round Dutch league Last sunday the second round of the Dutch league was played on the concrete course of Aalsmeer (Dutch system).

The new team of Oirschot with all former players of Geldrop took the lead from the beginning with a score of 113. On the second place came the team of Hole Ridders (Ridderkerk) with 118 together with last years runner-up Appelscha.

The second round was won by Appelscha with 117 strokes just before Oirschot and Zoetermeer with 119. The Hole Ridders came in with a round of 124 strokes on place six.

During the third round Oirschot made clear that there was only one team that could win and that was theirs. This round they played again a good round of 113 strokes. Also the Hole Ridders came in with 113 strokes.

The last round wasn't from the same level for Oirschot as before and it ended pretty close with the Hole Ridders (121-113) making the total difference only 2 shots. With a total of 466 strokes the second victory came home to Oirschot. Last weeks runner-up Duno ended this weekend on the 6th place. Hole Ridders became second with 468 strokes and Zoetermeer third with 480 strokes.
