This weekend the annual delegates meeting were held for the Swedish Minigolf Federation in Gothenburg. Already from the start there it was clear that some major changes of the board were going to happen since two of the "veterans" in the Swedish Board the Chairman Stig Pettersson and Cashier Said Morell announces their stepping back. Also board member Camilla Forslund had chosen to resign.
Torgny Lagerkvist from Gothenburg was elected as new president (chairman of the board).
The new board consists of in full:
President: Torgny Lagerkvist, Gullbergsbro
Vice President: Anna Boldt, Uppsala
Cashier: Hans Bergström, Uddevalla
Secretary: Andreas Feuk, Linjen
Board member: Per Mattsson, Sollefteå
Board member: Pauli Kuikka, Askim
Board member: Lars Josefsson, Gullbergsbro
Board member: Malin Löf, Tantogården
Board member: Thomas Damberg, Uppsala
The main issue apart from the elections was the motion to change from general delegate’s assembly every year to every second year. This motion was approved so from after the 2013 assembly the next one will be held in 2015.
As usual some awards was given to significant achievements the last year in Sweden and maybe the most prestigious award for Minigolfer of the year in Sweden was given to World Champion Filiph Svensson.
