Sunday April 1st the Dutch league started on the rather difficult course in Baarn with rather cold and windy weather. This year the league exists of 10 teams but will at the end be reduced to six teams.

Defending champion Oirschot 1 had a difficult start with 136 strokes and they saw the team of the Hole Ridders taken the lead with 130 strokes. During the second round the Hole Ridders needed 131 strokes and they saw Oirschot 1 losing 1 stroke more. Oirschot 1 lost also their second place due to a very good round of the Zoetermeer team with 126 strokes.

The third round was for Oirschot 1 with 128 strokes just before Zoetermeer with 129 strokes. But the Hole Ridders stayed on the lead with 131 strokes just before Zoetermeer. The last round gave not so much tension for the victory for the Hole Ridders . They closed the game with 130 strokes and became the first winner this season with 522 strokes. The second place was divided between Oirschot 1 and Zoetermeer. Oirschot won the last round with 137 - 140 for Zoetermeer.

The next game will be played April 14 on the eternit course of Spoordonk where in 2004 the European Cup was played.
