One week later the League day, the miniaturegolf course in Cusano is again theather of a national tournament.
75 players took part in the event that showed really great scores. The intense training for the league day and the nice weather conditions allowed very good results.
The absolute protagonist of the day has been Emanuele Prestinari , almost 17 years old player from the home team.
He won the overall male category with an outstanding score of 81 strokes in 4 rounds, which destroyed the old course record that was 84.
Emanuele scored 22 19 21 19 collecting all the course records and twice missing the 18-round (never setted on this course) due to a couple of very unlucky shots.
The young Emanuele is probably in the best moment of his minigolf life, having won 3 tournaments in the last months.
Great results also for Cristian Pinton (MC Monza), second with 83 strokes, Francesco Leuci (MT Amatese) third with 84 strokes. The winner of the individual ranking of the league day, Paolo Porta, scored the same result than previous tournament (86) but this time could only reach the 4th place.
5 19 rounds on this course where the 18 has never been played: Emanuele Prestinari (2) Cristian Pinton, Marco Ambrosini and Pierluigi Marchiani.
Very good performance also in the ladies category, where Sara Marchiani (GSP Cusano) won with the female course record on 4 rounds 88 . Second place for another player from Cusano, Anna Bandera.
GSP Cusano dominated the individual rankings but had to be content with a second place in the team event. The victory went to MT Amatese (Boris Arzuffi, Francesco Leuci, Antonio Di Bella, Massimo Diotti) that also setted the new team course record with 269 strokes in 3 rounds. » Complete results
