Last weekend, in Vizela, despite the stubborn and not so kind persistence of the sun greeting the athletes with temperatures of nearly 40ºC, the last rounds of the individual national championship were played.

As for the new and renewed national titles:

- Men: André Silva (CM Porto), for the seventh time in his carreer;
- Ladies: Anabela Pereira (CM Costa Nova), for the second consecutive time;
- Juniors (men): Luís Silva Jr. (CM Porto), for the third time in a row;
- Juniors (ladies): Sílvia Oliveira (Vizelgolfe);
- Youth: Tiago Bastos (Vizelgolfe);
- Kids: José Lobão (MC Lamego);
- Seniors: Eduardo Salazar (CM Porto);
- Oldtimers: Fernando Santos (CM Costa Nova)

While some players were able to make their way up to the top steadily, but thoroughly, others faced close competition up to the last stroke making this an exciting championship.
