The ladies european champion 1977 and senior ladies european champion 2007 Annalisa Aghito is coming back in the team. Some new names also in the men team.

There won't be any Italian player at the Youth World Championship in Bad Münder.
There were only 4 players that could have enough experience to play the championship so Federation decide to use the money for the other teams this year.
