Olivia Prokopova wins the last major of the 2012 season in the US by winning the USPGMA US Master 2012.
After having ended in second position both 2010 and 2011 it was nothing that could stop Olivia, the young (born in 1995) Czech MOS Star player, from taking her first US Master title. She played the 12 rounds on Hawaiian Rumble in Myrtle Beach on an average of 31,4 strokes.
Last year Olivia lost in sudden death against Jay Klapper but this year she took her revenge by being 3 strokes better than Jay, who ended in second place. Third another stroke behind was the winner of 2010, Sweden’s Richard Lockner with same score as Danny McCaslin. In fifth place we find another winner in recent years Greg Newport who won in 2009, proving the quality of this year’s edition of US Masters.
First prize for Oliva was $4000.
