Germany wins U23 on home ground

This weekend the U23-challenge was played in Mannheim, Germany at an indoor eternite course. 8 teams started, Germany, Austria and Sweden had two teams and Finland and Switzerland had one team.

The German team 1 was in the preliminay round robin roiunds the strongest and won all matches. Sweden 1 took 11 of 14 points and ending second. This meant that the final was played between Germany 1 and Sweden 1.

The final was a well played final where Germany 1 won by 87 against 93. In the match of the third place Switzerland won against Austria 2.

The best individual boys was:

1. Daniel Moser, Switzerland, (21.13)
2. Sebastian Heine, Germany 1, (21.25)
3. Eirik Seljelid, Sweden 1, (21.38)
4. Nikolai Bhend, Switzerland, (21.38)
5. Andreas Schneider, Germany 1 (21.50)

The best individual girls was:

1. Anne Bollrich, Germany 1 (21.25)
2. Karin Heschl, Austria 1 (21.50)
3. Sara Karlsson, Sweden 2 (21.75)
4. Martina Danner, Austria 1 (23.25)
5. Jasmin Ehm, Germany 2 (23.50)
