The last tournament of the 2008 Italian Minigolf season was played in Vedano al Lambro (Monza), a concrete indoor course. All players played a total of 3 rounds, whereafter 2 more rounds were played for the best 50% of each category followed by one more last round for the best 3 players of each category.

The best overall result and winner of the men category was Francesco Leuci of MT Amatese. To do this he had a perfect series of 23-24-23 in the last few rounds. At the women category it was Anna Catanzaro of MMC Paderno who took the first place with a total of 160 after an astonishing last round of 23. Anna Bandera (MC Monza) took silver with just 3 shots behind. Sara Marchiani - also playing for MC Monza - took the bronze with a total of 166 with a last round of 29.

Final ranking
The final 2008 national ranking was won by Paolo Porta (MGC Novi Ligure) in the men category for the fourth year in a row. He did this with just 9 points ahead of Rudi Giroldini (GSP Vergiate). At the women category it was Sara Marchiani (MC Monza) who took the gold with just 5 points ahead of Anna Bandera (MC Monza).

Next tournament in Vedano al Lambro will be the 12 hours pair marathon that will be played on 25th January with a lot of international players!
