Stafano Piccini takes Tigullio International Trophy The last outdoor tournament of the 2008 season in Italy was played in Rapallo, a seaside resort just outside Genoa. The competition was played system 1 course (concrete). This year about 80 players took part on this edition of "Tigullio International Trophy".

Rudi Giroldini of GSP Vergiate - who is fighting with Porta to win the overall ranking of 2008 - came in 4th with 87 points (28-30-29).

The other categories were won by Ornella Campora (MSC San Romolo - Ladies - 90 points), Lorenzo Ciompi (ASDMC Follonica - Juniors - 89 points), Lorenzo Bellucci (ASDMC Follonica - Schoolboys - 90 points), Antonio Goiorani (ASDMC Follonica - Senior men - 90 points), Silvana Poldi (MGC Novi Ligure - Senior Ladies - 96 points).

4-players mixed team tournament was won by ASDMC Follonica, leaving ASMI Valdarno and MGC Novi Ligure on a 2nd and 3rd place. GSP Vergiate won the 6-players men team tournament.
