The Dutch national selection of 2009 is published by Headcoach Roland Klarenbeek. This year a new system is developed to make it easier and more efficient to practise with certain players. This system has 4 tables, each with a different meaning.

The A-table is filled with players who have proven themselves in the last few years and are already qualified to be part of the team during the upcoming World Championships in Odense 2009. The B-table containes players who are normally not an issue in the Dutch team, but they need to show that they are in shape during the season. Then there is also a B1-table which has players with the potential to play the upcoming WC, but they need to show the technical staff that they play good and besides that show good behavior. The last table is the C-table, which includes the talent for the future. Those players will get special individual training and will be added to the B1-table whenever they are ready.
