Odense and Lamego 2009 will use electronic scorekeeping

World Championships 2009 in Odense (Denmark) and Seniors European Championships 2009 in Lamego (Portugal) are planning to use the same electronic scorekeeping system as was used in Tampere 2008.

Players mark their scores with a mobile phone, instead of the traditional paper scorecards. Electronic scorekeeping system makes it possible to follow the score situation of all players live, hole by hole, on the Internet website and on screens at the competition venue.

I hope that we will use this type of resultservice in Sweden in the near future too. Atleast on the national championship and the top 2 divisions in the series sysytem.

No, this system was created by Manse RG about 18 months ago.
