SK Tempo Praha still on the top

Czech Republic 10 Apr 2009 at 20:24 | Published by: Kachna | Views: 7764 | News search

SK Tempo Praha still on the top Czech players woke up last weekend after their winter minigolf sleep and played third and fourth round of the Czech Extra League. The tournament took place in Děčín, where there is a not very difficult indoor felt course.

SK Tempo Praha proved its qualities as the best Czech team and won both playing days (with total average 29,3). Closely behind, first day 20 and second day only 10 strokes, was 1.DGC Bystrice pod Hostynem „A“ (average 30,3). Third place took GC 85 Rakovnik on Saturday and MGC Olomouc on Sunday.

The best player was Milan Lipmann, with total score of 155 strokes (25,83), who only confirms easiness of this course, when playing 23 25 24 the second day. He was followed by Martin Jecny (28,00), third place took Michal Stancik (28,00), who lost in the sudden death.

The next two rounds will be played on eternite course in Bystrice pod Hostynem during the weekend 2-3 May 2009.

Wow, the results may prove something about the course, but they also show what kind of master of minigolf Lipa is! The other players aren't exactly bad either and Lipa beat them by faaaaar. Respect to one of the greatest minigolf personalities!
