Jugendländerpokal 2009 was played in rainy weather, yet without any rain interruptions in competition, at the eternite course of Dudweiler / Homburg in Germany.
The extremely tight team competition was conquered by Nordrhein Westfalen (the silver team of last year’s JLP), with total average 22.23. Only three points behind the winner came the teams of Hessen and Baden, with tied score. Hessen took the silver medals, after a sudden death play-off.

The bronze team of 2008 Rheinland Pfalz fell to second-last place this year, ranked 7th in team competition. (The playing system was eternite in 2009, but eternite + beton combi in 2008.)
