Randy Reeves is the best at PPA Western Open Randy Reeves won PPA Western Open at the Putt-Putt course of Tyler in Texas, USA. Reeves played average score 26.13, two points ahead of Andy Coradini in second place (average 26.38).

Tied third place went to Cliff Matthews and Greg Ward, both with average 26.88, 4 points behind Coradini. (PPA does not arrange sudden death play-offs for any other tied ranks than the first place in the competition, as is customary in professional golf.)

Randy Reeves has won a national PPA tournament in every decade since 1970’s.

This was a small but great tournament field. Reeves won wire to wire. Coradini did pull even during the eighth round, but Reeves kept focus coming in to secure his victory. The course in Tyler, Texas is more difficult than most courses we play on the PPA tour. Reeves average of 26.125 over 8 rounds was quite remarkable.
