Nick Chitty wins English Open A newcomer to the top of British minigolf, Nick Chitty, won English Open 2009 at Wroxham Barns adventure golf course in Norfolk. Nick played average score 31.67, winning by 2 points in the tight battle against Chris Harding, who scored average 32.33. Brad Shepherd was third with average 34.67, after tied score and sudden death play-off against Jon Angel.

Best female players were Jo Williamsson (average 37.00), Ruth Bullin (38.00) and Emily Gottfried (42.33).

Rocky Bullin was best junior with average 37.67, and Adam Kelly was best novice with average 39.33.
