Dennis Biesma and Greg Newport scored uncommonly low averages 23.67 at a Putt-Putt tournament in Richmond, Virginia, on 15 May 2009. Biesma and Newport then continued with a play-off over 18 holes (as is customary in golf and Putt-Putt), where Biesma proved better and took the winner’s title.
Players in tied third place were not much worse, as Brad Lebo and Manfred Stewart scored averages 24.00, only one point behind Biesma and Newport.
Putt-Putt is played with a golf ball on traditional American felt courses, whose width is 120 cm and length typically somewhere around 9 m. » results and news article
