Rahmlow and Rathje best at German Senioren-Cup Gabriele “Gaby” Rahmlow won senior women’s competition at Senioren-Cup 2009, which was played at the felt and eternite courses of Bad Münder, Germany. Rahmlow played felt with average 29.00 and eternite with average 21.50. Andrea Reinicke was second in senior women (F 30.25, E 22.50), and Monika Erlbruch third (F 30.25, E 22.50).

Udo Rathje won senior men’s competition, with average 28.25 on felt and 21.75 on eternite. Karl-Heinz Gerwert was second in senior men (F 30.50, E 19.50), and Heinz Höferlin third (F 30.25, E 21.50).

Team competition was won by Nordrhein-Westfalen, ahead of Bremen/Niedersachsen in second place and Bayern 1 in third place.

Just to point out, this as well as Jugendländerpokal are in the first line team competitions. So the true winner was Nordrhein-Westfalen, who profited strongly from Gaby at the obligatory female position. Individual official titles are not awarded. But all the respect to the address of Rahmlow/Rathje, and not to forget Karl-Heinz either!
