Last weekend the fourth and last round of the Dutch league (LHK) was played in Ridderkerk on the concrete course. Appelscha, the winner of last years league, was the leader with a margin of three points before Zoetermeer and Geldrop. Everyone expected that Zoetermeer would win this last match, because it was almost their homeground.

The first round showed a big surprise because it was De Putters who won the first round with a total of 127 strokes. On the second place came the teams of Appelscha, Geldrop and Zoetermeer with 130 strokes. Also the second round the victory was for De Putters with 132 strokes. On the second place came Appelscha with 133 strokes just in front of Zoetermeer 134 and Geldrop 136.

During the third round Appelscha took the lead after a good round of 123 strokes and De Putters needed 132 strokes. On the third place came now Geldrop after a round of 126 strokes.

The last round was a big success for Geldrop after winning this round with 122 strokes. By winning this round they won also todays match with 514 strokes just before Appelscha with 515 strokes and De Putters with 516 strokes. The favorite for the last match , Zoetermeer, ended on the fourth place with 521 strokes.

In the final standing was the first place and so the title again for Appelscha with 18 points. On the second place came Geldrop with 16 points and third was Zoetermeer with 14 strokes.
