The trophy of best player in the competition went to junior player Aki Sillman, who played the same total score as men’s winner Kosti Salonen (average 22.11), but with smaller difference between worst round and best round. Oskari Vihervaara was second in juniors, with average 23.22. Matias Röj got bronze in juniors, with average 23.78.

Mirva Juhola took her third Finnish champion title in a row in women’s competition, with average 24.11. Nina Mustonen was second with average 25.11, and Seija Björk was third with average 25.56.

Medalists in seniors category were Ari Åman (average 23.78), Harry Grönlund (24.22) and Timo Metsäranta (24.33).

Rolf Bergström won gold in veterans with average 24.00, Jukka Laitala was second with average 24.89, and forever young Hans-Eric Pettersson third with average 25.22.

Girls under 15 years category had only one participant: Anna Åman took the gold medal with average 44.67.

Medalists in team competition were 1st Sibelius Park MGK, 2nd Taivallahden RGS, and 3rd Minigolf-Aces. Sibelius Park MGK took gold also in senior teams competition, where East City Minigolfers was second, and Helsingin RGK third.

Just a small detail, the trophy was shared by Kosti and Aki, in a way, you know. The trophy is still in one piece... I think that's also a fair call, both were very good and none better than the other but far better than the others.
