Pasi Aho played some great scores at Cheb marathon in Czech Republic on 11 July 2009. His 13 competition rounds 31 30 30 30 27 26 24 32 27 25 25 25 25 were celebrated as the new Finnish record on Bongni standard beton courses, on every possible number of rounds (2 rounds, 3 rounds, 4 rounds, ... 13 rounds) except one round, where the Finnish record is 23 points.

The tournament results never appeared on the website of Czech Minigolf Federation, however. Later we have learned that the tournament was not an official competition of CMGS: it was a private and unofficial club tournament, for invited players such as the local club members and some friends from other cities.

Finnish Minigolf Federation doesn’t keep a list of official Finnish records of minigolf, so nobody will officially approve or disapprove these scores as Finnish records in minigolf. Those who privately keep such records, or talk about them in the clubhouses of minigolf courses, usually approve only scores which were played in official competitions.
