Belgium leads over the Netherlands after first weekend The Belgium men are leading over the Netherlands after the first weekend of this years match between the neighbor countries. The competition is played over two weekends, one in the Netherlands and one in Belgium. It is always played on concrete, felt or MOS.

Like other years, the Belgium men are in the lead after the first 4 rounds - played in Esneux (Belgium, MOS) - with a total of 53 strokes with 11 players. Top individuals are Michael Jacob (120) & Thierry Cappe (121) on Belgium side and Tom Pardaans (130) & Johannes Konst (132) on the Dutch side.

While the men are playing with 11+1 players (worst score each round is ignored) the women are playing with 6+1. In this category the Netherlands is leading with 22 strokes. Individual leaders are Natasja Klarenbeek (128) & Annie Jasper (131) from the Netherlands and Greta Janssens (134) & Regine Payen (138) on the Belgium side.

Next weekend will be played in Appelscha (Netherlands, felt) during the weekend of 25/26 of October 2008.
