Kosti Salonen rules as usual in Rahola, Tampere

Kosti Salonen won both the strokeplay and matchplay competitions at Rahola indoor eternite course in Tampere, Finland. Kosti played 5 rounds strokeplay with average 20.80, 7 points ahead of Kari Kulmala in second place and Jukka Reunavuori in third place (after sudden death play-off, both with average 22.20).

In matchplay cup on Sunday, Kosti won all his opponents with clear numbers (7–1, 3–1, 5–1, 4–0), but the final match against Finnish minigolf mogul Rolf Bergström became a tight 4–3 victory for Kosti. The bronze match between Arto Borg and Jukka Reunavuori ended 5–3 in the favour of Borg.
