There are about 300 recesses on one golf ball, and thanks to them, the ball flies three times farther than a smooth one. ... Balls of the same size...

70 aces in a row by Kellershohn

Germany 04 Jan 2010 at 12:18 | Published by: Hans | Views: 9277 | News search

70 aces in a row by Kellershohn This year the traditional Marathon between Christmas and New Year was moved from Lorsch to Mannheim. This made the dominance from the two home players Miroslav Stoparic and Stephan Kellershohn even bigger one might assume.

Over the 20 laps these two had a average of 20,4 and the best of all was Stefan Kellershon who played the last eight rounds on 19,5 in average. But the biggest achievement was probably made in the final hours of the tournament. The last 4 rounds Stefan played an astonishing 19-18-18-18, making no less than 70 aces in a row (source MOZ)

To Minigolfnews knowledge there is no official "Most-aces-in-a-row" World Record acknowledged from EMF-WMF but we have heard of i.e. Marco Balzer making 4 time 18 in a row.

On second place 21 strokes behind was Mark Patzelt and Joerg Woessner and third another 2 strokes behind was Max Hermann and Sascha Spreier.

Great playing and all, but come on! What's up with that 19?? Couldn't you putt any better? :-)

Incredible finish and great playing. There are a lot of us who get to thinking "If we ace out, we'll win..." during competition. But to make the last 70 holes... wow!!
