Today the first round of the renewed Dutch Premier League (LHK) has been played in Spoordonk. Surpisingly, the start was prey for the senior team of De Putters (Bennekom), with a score of 92 strokes they ended in front of big favorites Geldrop 1 with 94 and defending champion Appelscha with 99 strokes.

Also during the second round De Putters kept the lead with 94 strokes, but they saw the Geldrop-team coming closer with 93 strokes. Appelscha lost their third place to Geldrop 2 with a score of 104 to 97.

The third round was won by Zoetrmeer with a very good score of 89, but that was not enough to be part of the top teams. Geldrop succeeded to gain the first place after a round of 96 ahead of De Putters with 99 strokes. The third place was now shared by three teams: Appelscha, Geldrop 2 and Hole Ridders (Ridderkerk).

It was a pity that the last round knew two rainbreaks and some players lost their concentration. At the end Geldrop 1 succeeded to win the first weekend with 381 strokes before De Putters with 386 strokes. The third place was for the team of Hole Ridders with 390 strokes. The best score was made by Roel Groenhuijsen (Hole Ridders) with 89 strokes.
