Third round Dutch league with a lot of excitement Last sunday the third round of the Dutch league was played on the minigolfcourse of the Holedrivers in Afferden nearby Arnhem (Papendal). Compared to other betoncourses this course is not really easy. This time there was a lot of excitement till the end. Not before the last shot it was known who would be the winner.

During the start, the defending champion Appelscha were in the lead with a total of 118 strokes. The second place were for Geldrop 1 and Zoetermeer with 123 strokes.

During the second round Appelscha stayed in the lead after a round of 123 strokes and they saw that only Geldrop 1 with 124 strokes could follow them. Appelscha leaded with six strokes. The winning score this round was for the team of DUNO from Doorwerth.

Now it was time for Geldrop 1 to do something. The third round was the first round they had a better round them Appelscha 119 - 121 but still a difference of four strokes remained. The best score was this round for Ridderkerk with a very good total of 112 strokes on this course and with this score they came three strokes behind Geldrop 1.

The last round Appelscha lost the victory. They were not able to follow Geldrop 1 and and lost with eight strokes 118 - 126. Also Ridderkerk lost this round of Geldrop 1 with 120 strokes. Geldrop won for the third time in a row now with 484 strokes and leads now with 24 points before Ridderkerk with 19 points and Appelscha with 17 points.
