The first of three competitions that was selected as extra important in the selection (OBS-competitions) for the Swedish National Teams was played in the south Swedish Asarum this weekend. It was 7 rounds of eternit and was totally dominated by Martin Lundell with a fine average of 21,7.
On the quite tricky lanes (PAR = 22,4) he won by 9 strokes in front of Jan-Åke Persson and Leif Nilsson both from Sjöviken. All those three are strong candidates for the old-timers team and dominated the elite-class in absence of the top players in the General Class.
In the B-class the Swedish Junior Team girl Sara Karlsson dominated the field with a fine average of 23,1 which had been given her a third place in the elite-class.
Next OBS-competition will be played in Skoghall on concrete the 3-4 of July.
