Reinhard Neitzke resigns as EMF Sport Director

Europe 27 Jul 2010 at 21:01 | Published by: Hans | Views: 11046 | News search

Reinhard Neitzke resigns as EMF Sport Director Today EMF distributed the Delegates Conference documentation for the Predazzo Delegates Conference. The material shows that there are no motions to the conference only some rules to be applied from WMF in the EMF statues.

What can be read is how the current board member looks upon their future in the board. The President Victor Condeco (POR), the Secretary General Mikko Haapasaari (FIN) and the Finance Manager Michael Rasmussen (DEN) are all willing to take upon another two year period. The Sport Director Reinhard Nietzke (GER) states that he would not like to continue as Sport Director. Instead he can see himself as a candidate for the Media Manager position. This position is currently held by Kristiana Kirsa, but her statement is missing in the documentation.

One last thing that Reinhard wants to debate before he resigns as Sport Director is the possibility of having two set of medals in international Championships like was suggested for the TC this spring but was not approved. Hence Reinhard calls for a separate debate in the subject on the Delegates Conference to clarify what the nation’s opinion in this subject are.

We had a public poll about this on 25 August 2009 at minigolfnews.com. The results were:

53% - Its a good idea to have two Champions
31% - Only one Champion by Stroke Play
10% - KO-finals with only the 8 best in each class
3% - Only one Champion by Match Play
2% - Something else

A poll about the next Media Manager? Hans would be strong in that one.
