Joe Shirey wins PPA Western Tour event September 4, 2010

Joe Shirey, from Houston, Texas won the day's second 54 hole PPA Western Tour event in Waco, Texas. Shirey's score of 86, (22 under par) was 4 shots clear of second place finisher Lee Messinger from Dallas.

This was Shirey's 22nd career win on the Texas/Western Tour and his first since 1995. Shirey is back playing this year after a fifteen year absence.
