Marcus Bjärneroth from Sweden won our public vote for Minigolf Photo of the Year 2012, with his magical still photo of a Swedish national team player, John Widlert, bouncing a minigolf ball with the putter.

Actually the vote ended with four leading photos having so small difference in points that the leader of the vote changed after nearly every new vote. “Bouncing the Ball” photo received 301 points from the voters, only 3 points more than “Team Sweden Celebrates” photo by Hans Bergström, 6 points more than “Balloons in the Air” photo by Juli Dunn, and 15 points more than “The Window” photo by Björn Dinau. Each of these four photos held the leading position for some moments during the last stages of the voting.

This is the 5th year that minigolfnews.com organized a public vote for Minigolf Photo of the Year. Below are links to results of the vote of each year:
