Kosti Salonen showed who is master of the house at 21. Finnish Marathon, which was played at Rahola indoor eternite course in Tampere, Finland. Kosti played 15 rounds with average score 20.73, quite massively 1.65 points per round better than the second best player Pasi Aho (22.38) and 3rd best Marko Nuotio (22.46).

Kosti Salonen & Ari Åman won the pairs competition (even though Åman was only 27th best player of the tournament) with a margin of 4 points ahead of Marko Nuoto & Jyri Rantanen in 2nd place. Pasi Aho & Kari Kulmala were 3rd in the pairs competition, three points behind Nuotio & Rantanen.

Nordic Championships will be played at this same minigolf course on 11-12 April 2009.
