A news report by Vincent Huus, Denmark:
Sadly we wont be represented very much internationally in 2014
In fact only 1 man and 1 woman will wear the danish colors in august in Neutraubling.
Here is a presentation of the selected few.
Jannick Skov from Gladsaxe and Laura Henriksen from Odense.
Jannick has noumerous danish medals and have been crowned Danish champion several
times.
He has been to many Word Champs and European Champs and his best result is reaching
the top 32 in Porto in 2012, where he battled hard, but lost narrowly against German
giant Harald Erlbruch.
Laura is still junior, but have shown that she has what it takes to play with the
adults. The EC in Neutrabling will be her debut to the adult tournament.
She is the new danish Woman champ and have been on the danish junior programme since
her debut at EYC in 2011 in Naturns, Italy
She made top 16 at the YWC in Bad Münder, 2012 where she lost against the champion
to be, Lara Jehle from Austria.
On to the juniors who will travel til Lahti, Finland for the YWC
Nickolaj Andersen, Rasmus Villadsen and Laura Henriksen.
Nickolaj from Putter Team Odense is back after a few years away from the sport.
This will be his last chance as junior, before his age catches up with him.
Rasmus from Nord-Als Minigolf Club had his debut last year in Portugal, where he
learned alot
Laura will do a double stint in august. First the YWC and then strait to the EC in
Neutraubling.
Busy scedule, but im sure she can cope with the preasure.
As coach i will bring a new kid on the block, Morten Christiansen from Minigolfklub
Putter Team Odense.
I will join them as headcoach, ofc.
The seniors is a quite different story.
Denmark will bring a full men-team to Murnau.
Jan Lyø Putter Team Odense, danish medalrecordholder, former EC bronzemedalist.
Erling Jensen Putter Team Odense, reached the quarterfinals last year at SEM
Jan Rasmussen, Silkeborg, this will be his 3. time as oldtimer.
Morten Rasmussen, Odense, huge routine as national player, both in general class and
oldtimers
Leif Bæk, Roslev, multiple danish champ
Peder Jacobsen, Roslev, Rookie with several danish goldmedals.
Robert Baldorf, Gladsaxe, headcoach but will play as well.
Good luck to all the players.
