Miro Čibik is the first Slovak indoor champion

The first indoor championship was played in The Slovak Republic during first March weekend. Thirty five players attended this tournament on the one and only Slovak 18-holes eternite course placed in Trnava.
The winner‘s names were known after six rounds in each category. Absolute category has been won by comfortable headstart – 5 strokes, youth player – Miro Čibik, who played an average of 22,5. Juraj Palovič finished on the second place with an average of 23,3 and third one was René Šimanský – average 23,5. All above mentioned players play for GK Adara Trnava from TOP 3.

Man: Juraj PALOVIČ (GK Adara Trnava) 23,3
Woman: Veronika VIDENOVÁ (GK Adara Trnava) 25,0
Junior: Miroslav ČIBIK (GK Adara Trnava) 22,5
Senior: Ivan BUŠ (GK Bratislava) 24,7
Čibik/Zontág ended up as the first couple in the pair competition with a pair average of 23,8, but KO system opened a chance to other pairs, after the three best couples were knocked out in the first round. Despite of this fact, matches were interesting till the end, especially final one, beceuse Ivan Buš/Marcel Korinek, the couple from Bratislava , gave great performance and hence became the first Slovak pair champions. » results
