Natasja Klarenbeek won all women, and also all men, at Dutch combi championships 2008, played at the eternite and beton courses of Geldrop. Her average score 22.00 on eternite and 26.60 on beton proved too tough for anyone to beat.

Silver medal in women’s competition went to Annie Jasper, 21 points behind the winner (2.10 points per round). Ingrid van der Laan got bronze, 9 points behind Annie Jasper.

Victory in men’s competition went to Roland Klarenbeek — still going strong, 11 years after his bronze medal at 1997 World Championships in Studen. Roland played beton with average 26.60 and eternite with average 23.20, losing 6 points to his wife Natasja.

René Bos took silver in men’s competition, 3 points behind the winner Roland, and 2 points ahead of bronze medalist Erik Tiekstra. Erik has seen better days at this beton course than the average 30.00 that he played in this competition.
