Swedish nominations to NC The Swedish Head Coach Jan Strandberg has nominated one team to play in the "Val di Fiemme Trophy" (Nations Cup) in Predazzo.

The team will see a comeback in the national team for the 2008 Player of the Year on Minigolfnews, Sandra Bengtsson. Maria Ohlsson will also be part of the Team along with two recent seniors Filiph Svensson and John Widlert.

Also the junior Head Coach has nominated the team to go to Sochi, Russia for the Nations Cup. In the team will be girl star Frida Elmdahl togehter with three boys, Filip Johansson, Oscar Kjellberg and Eirik Seljelid.

that's correct. It isn't an official Nations Cup. That has been cancelled, but the organizer will organize an international tournament instead. More information is also available on EMF website.

Officially it is no Nations cup I think. But there is a tournament replacing it...

Hmm, that's strange, this file (http://www.minigolfsport.com/download/championshipscalendar.pdf) says that this years Nations Cup is cancelled....? What is true?
