Netherlands 19 Apr 2009 at 19:51 | Published by: Tiek | Views: 4581 | News search  | source: Marrie Bonhof

Holeridders big winner at District Championships This weekend the District Championships has been played in Western Netherlands. This individual competition has been played in Aalsmeer (Dutch system) and Boskoop (eternite). As one of the biggest districts, it was unfortunate to see that not many people played the competition.

However, a few top players were competing and made an exciting tournament. In Aalsmeer Monique Bonhof came in first with in the womens category. She did this with a total score of 216 (27,00 average). She was followed by Erica Tromp with 220 and Wendy van Luypen with 226. All players represent RMC De Holeridders, from Ridderkerk.

In the men category it was not only de Holeridders who took the medals back home. Remon Verveer took the gold with a total score of 216, followed by Polish national team member Mariusz Ciesielski with 218 and Ramon Craane with 232.

At the seniors it was Tom Pardaans and Els v/d Stroom who took the gold. Tom Pardaans won with a total of 212, making him the overall winner of the weekend.
