Jussi Heino played average score 30.63 at the felt course of Tampere, at Koulukatu Open 2009. Tom Ahlberg was second best with average 31.75 (9 points behind the winner), and Pekka Peltola was third with average 32.75 (8 points behind Ahlberg).

One of the most famous names in Finnish minigolf at the moment, Oskari Vihervaara, was left 13th at this competition in his home town, with average 37.13. Portuguese national team player André Campos was 15th in general competition, and 1st in men’s class 2, with average 36.71. (A better average than 13th ranked Vihervaara, because 13 best players played one round more, and Vihervaara played a high score in the last extra round.)

Best female players in the competition were Nina Mustonen (average 38.29), Annikki Andreasson (40.43) and Yvonne Bartley (41.00).

Koulukatu Open is traditionally the last competition of the Finnish outdoor minigolf season.
